What professionals should not have visible tattoos showing?
I am a teacher, and I have two tattoos, one on my left leg and one on my right foot, there is no rule in our policy that says we shouldn't have visible tattoos, just wondering what others think about tattoos on certain professionals.
I ink professional people all the time. Almost always they are covered by a shirt, or pants, while they are at work. But I have a regular who's a doctor. He's got a good practice, and he's got some beautiful work. He doesn't care who sees it, and he's a really nice guy. I hope the trend continues in that direction. It's not that big a deal, in a city of two million people. Times have changed. It's only a big deal with the 'tattoo bigots' that are out there. And people that are very anti-tattoo usually have something in their past, a bad experience with someone that had a tattoo. They'll let it slip, if you ask them in the right manner.
