I know that in the artist's world...It is very hard to make money. But I'm not really looking for a job, but mostly some pocket change.
I draw portraits and tattoos. I've sold 8 or 9 portraits and 2 tattoos.
I guess my question is how would I sell my tattoo art to a parlor? Or should I just stick to selling them to the person wanting it done, like Ihave been doing?

I fell in love with portraits when I drew my first one. I draw soldier portraits mostly for me friends, but I'd really like to sell my work. I donno...Just a thought I guess.

I think your best bet would be to strike a deal with a couple/few tattoo parlors and work it out on a commission basis. Whatever they charge for that design you get 10%, 20%, whatever you can agree on. You can still sell them the way you do now and having a deal with a tattooist would bring in extra bucks whenever someone chose your design.
