The tattoo that I want is pretty simple, I think I just want my initials on my upper arm on the outside. I just want to know if it will hurt badly its just 2 letters "DJ"
I got my brother's initials in my inner ankle and it hurt like hell, but it was near the bone so that's why. The closer to a bone, the more it will hurt. They more fatty the area is, the less it will hurt. However, any tattoo you get will have some pain.
Nobody will be able to tell you how much it hurts, because everyone's body is different and everyone's experience of pain is different. You shouldn't let pain put you off, it's the passion and the determination to go through with it that count. If you really want the tattoo, a little pain won't matter.
It really depends on where you get it. If it's near a bone (ankle, etc.) it does hurt more. If you get it on a more fleshy part it feels like a kitten scratching you. But I have a VERY high pain tolerance.
Doesn't matter what the tat is. It's where it is on your body that will determine the amount of pain. I don't have one there, so I couldn't tell you.
ReplyDeleteA little suggestion? DJ on your arm is kind of lame.

ReplyDeleteIn my experience the outer upper arm is about the least painful place to get tattooed. Shouldn't be too bad.
